Our Story
Come sit with us at Mimi's table, where the real magic happens—you'll meet the sisters behind the blends and understand what inspires us.
Mimi, our grandmother, was so sweet, so kind, so good-natured and generous. She had a gift for inclusion and acceptance. Mimi genuinely loved people. Truth be told, when we find ourselves in a pickle, we ask ourselves, “What would Mimi do?” She met everyone with an embrace, a listening ear, and a compliment. She was quick to invite company over for hot coffee or egg salad sandwiches or graham crackers with homemade frosting. Mimi welcomed strangers, church newcomers, neighbors, foreign exchange students, good friends, and the whole family to sit around her table to enjoy the abundance of food, laughter, and community.
When we were young, the traditions continued at our table. Sunday family dinners were never just Mom being the hostess. She and we three daughters worked together to cook, chop, grate, heat, serve, clear and clean up the kitchen. We liked to invite everyone to trek out to our house in the rolling hills of Paso Robles. The menu was simple, communal and tasty. Dinner was always followed up with a game of Penny Dominoes or Balderdash, and no one left without dessert. It was so much fun.
Our mom has Mimi’s table now and the food, laughter and joy are still happening. Our goal with Rinn’s Pantry is simple: Build your community around your table. Feed yourselves amazing, tasty food and nourish your heart with the company of folks you love.
